Deleting an Event

This guide will walk you through the steps to delete an existing event using the Caley app.

Getting Started

Deleting an existing event in Caley is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to remove an event from your schedule.

Accessing the Event

  1. Log In to Caley: Start by logging in to your Caley account.

  2. Go to Dashboard: Navigate to the Dashboard where you can see a list of your events.

  3. Select the Event: In the Dashboard, find the event you want to delete. You can locate it in either the "Past Events" or "Scheduled Events" section.

  4. Click on the Event: Click on the event you wish to delete to open its details.

Deleting the Event

  1. Locate Delete Option: Within the event details, find the option to delete the event. This is typically a button labeled "Delete" or an icon representing deletion.

  2. Click "Delete": Click the delete button to initiate the deletion process.

Confirmation and Final Steps

  1. Confirm Deletion: A confirmation dialog will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the event. This step is crucial to prevent accidental deletions.

  2. Click "Confirm": Click the "Confirm" button to permanently delete the event.

  3. Deletion Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message indicating that the event has been successfully deleted.

Important Notes

  • Irreversible Action: Deleting an event is irreversible. Once an event is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  • Notify Invitees: If the event has invitees, consider notifying them about the cancellation before deleting the event.
